16th April 2019 – Visit to Gresham’s School

29th January 2019 Leave a Comment

Our tour guide was Simon Kinder, a history teacher at the school who generously gave up his time in the Easter break. A total of 20 (including partners) attended and enjoyed the event greatly.
As well as a physical tour of some parts of the school, we were treated to an informative and entertaining history. Simon has been at the school for 16 years and, in that time, has invested a considerable mount of time and effort in researching the history of the school, particularly in relation to the former pupils and staff who lost their lives in the first world war.
