By chance I saw a web reference to Appleton Probus (who meet in Warrington) coming on holiday and staying in Cromer. I contacted their website manager and we decided that it might be nice for some of us to meet up with them at their hotel.
The appointed hour was 8.15 on Friday 31st May and 6 of our members and 1 wife went along to the Hotel de Paris and spent some time chatting with them in the bar. We discussed Probus matters and a good deal else, passing a very enjoyable couple of hours. The members of both clubs agreed that orgainsing the get-together had been very worthwhile.
So pleased to be able to meet up with fellow Probus members. A very enjoyable few hours.
